Being a Local guides program I consider myself part of a GOOGLE FAMILY
I recently came to know through the email informing me that I have reached to level 5 and later that level 6 . Until then all my dedication towards Google maps was mainly my own interest to identify places I have visited during my vacation to various cities’hotels ’ restaurants in the world . What a surprise and at the same an invitation to apply for visit to Google at that time I came know what it means to be a local guide of level 5 and 6.
Photography is my passion and that passion ultimately turned me to become a Google guide to help the viewers to identity and know how to reach to places and to shop ’ to eat and stay . In the past few years being a guide I was able to identify places I visited in London ’ Paris’ Spain 'Marrakesh ‘Casablanca’ Istanbul ’ Mecca & Medina in Saudi Arabia ’ Lahore & Tarbela in Pakistan or the walking trail Terry fox trail in my neighborhood lake wabukayne Mississauga in my hometown in Canada. To share a personal search in paris while searching for a place to eat at a time when nothing was available around I was able to find a mall by only walking around the hotel we were staying in the outskirts of paris " Aeroville" which attracted more than 9k viewers .
to view and reach to a hidden Large shopping place which was hard to locate in that area a to dine eat and shop and at the same was able to advertise a cosmetic company "Nicbe " which was viewed by over 9k viewers.
One interesting incident to share ’ acknowledgme and appreciate a hotel staff in Toledo ( Spain) where I left my Sunglasses and remembered on my way to Marakesh. I contacted the hotel asking if my sunglasses were picked up by any hotel staff. At my request Hotel staff went an extra mile and took the pain to send back to my hometown .
