One of the things that interested me was posting a photo of my residence Mitchell hall MAKERERE university KAMPALA Uganda just with an intention of letting people know where I stay. Little did I know about Google local guide existence. Next day I saw an email from Google about my views and reviews. Honestly I felt so happy. How could Google recognize my small efforts by then!! I then added missing places in my village PACHWA Kagadi Uganda that were missing on Google maps and then next day, they had been approved by Google. I became happier. I could now Google search my village. I know it looks funny but I was glad.
From then onwards, I just kept on posting pics of almost every places I visited wanting to help others find them easily, rating them, reviewing and the like.
I was also made happy by the people who we’re viewing my PHOTOS as Google always updated me. I ran fast through the rank levels through 1-5 level guide within a short while. I feel happy that people are getting to know me now. Am not really a celebrity in uganda but knowing that Google cares about me, am glad thanks. I indeed want to be at this local guide connect to learn from other guides worldwide.
