Hello Guides, How are you doing? Hope you’re well everyone. After a Long time, I come back to this community. You may have already known from the title what I am going to talk about today. So let’s start,
My Understanding
I think that a local guide is someone who adds various information about his area to Google Maps. Basically I do the same thing. When I first started, I was just uploading pictures. Gradually I learned to understand many things, how to write a review, how to give information about a place, those things. Once I found the local guide community in Bangladesh, went to various meetings with them and got to know everything in detail. From then on it becomes easy to work and try to work with maximum accuracy. In this way, those who are new to my area will get to know different things, which place will be good for them, which place can cause problems for them, which restaurant they will go to, they will get good environment, they will get food in budget. These are the things that I mainly highlight. And I think that through this I have been able to alleviate a lot of people’s suffering. Special thanks to Google for making such good work possible.
Learnings from there
It may not be possible to sum up the learnings I have received from this community. The biggest lesson I have learned is how to help people as much as possible without spending any effort or money. In just a few moments to a few clicks on the map, I can add a lot of things that are important to the people of that area or to anyone visiting from outside or in need. It doesn’t cost me any effort or money yet thousands of people are benefiting from it. There are thousands of ways to help people in the world, but being with this community is very easy but the importance and impact is much greater. I also learned how to properly contribute to the map, what to do and what not to do, and much more about maps.
Achievements
I have gained a lot from here. First of all, the love I received from the people here is my greatest achievement. I don’t know how much I’ve helped people by contributing to the map but I’ve received a lot of love for what I’ve done so far Many people thanked me in my review on the map. Many people searched me on social media, where they thanked me. There are many small traders whose businesses I have tried to spread through the map and have received much love from them.

Secondly, I met a lot of new people in this community, who gave me a lot of guidance not only on how to work on the map, but also in life. Such good people would never have been found without joining this community.

Finally, what I found was a way to help people, if I hadn’t been a local guide I wouldn’t have found a way to help thousands of people so easily.
