My Trip at Dabra Forest

I traveled to the dabra forest of the Mamberamo Raya area of ​​Papua Province last year.

From Jayapura I took a small plane for 1 hour. very awesome trip.

when I arrived at the small airport Dabra, I rested for 1 day. then the next day continue riding a small boat down the river Mamberamo.

I traveled by boat for 3 hours. Mamberamo River is the 6th longest river in Indonesia. I continued the journey on foot through the Dabra forest for 3 hours to the point in the middle of the forest. very great trip.

Arriving in the middle of the forest, I made a base camp from the material of the trees around it. Believe it or not, this is where I rest for 1 month in the Dabra forest. Do not ask how disturbance from various kinds of insects and other wild animals.

In this place I stayed for 1 month. when stepping on week 3 my food was gone. Finally we hunt fish in the river and start eating cassava and vegetables in the forest.

a trip that will not be forgotten for the rest of my life.
