Hello everyone.
First of all I congratulate to TRAC team to achieve 138k roads.
Did you know about TRACHer team ?
So today I want to tell you about it.
I started road mapping in March 2026. When the announcement was made about forming the TRACher Team group for road mapping (specially created for women), I casually put my name forward because I wanted to participate. In fact, when I first joined as a Google Guide, I had tried adding a map edit, but it was not approved at the time, so I gave up on it. However, I always had a genuine desire to contribute by adding roads, and thanks to the TRACher Team, I got that opportunity again after six years. For that, I would like to sincerely thank the TRACher Team.
When the TRACher Team was formed, only a few of the women participants were familiar to me, and we had never really discussed road mapping before. When TRAC team Captain @SholaIB informed us about the Telegram group, I joined immediately. Several members were already active there. Among them, I knew @SonamW , @Annaelisa , @SayliWalve and @SwetaDhondoo Through the TRACher Team, I also made new friends such as Ceci, Doc_Dell, and Sarah and many more.
Everyone speaks highly of Captain @SholaIB so it is difficult to add something new. However, I can confidently say that SholalB is incredibly helpful. Whenever they are available, they provide guidance and continue helping until you find the answer to your question. After joining the group, it was almost a month before I learned about the Roaders Club. Until then, I had simply been adding roads.
It was @SonamW who told me about the Roaders Club and explained that it provides detailed information about our mapping activities. After that, I joined the club.
@Kumaarsantosh was extremely helpful in guiding me through the joining process. Since it was my first time participating in such a group, I was unfamiliar with many things. He guiding me very nicely and I am feeling blessed that my guides my mentors are very energetic and their energy teaches you how to learn difficult things.
The Roaders club is very well organized, and @MarcoDavoli takes excellent care of its management. Keeping information updated every day is not an easy task, and he handled it remarkably well. I truly appreciate his efforts. Marco also responded enthusiastically to every email, which always impressed me.
Every time he adding new information about mapping in different styles.
Also I would like to thank you for lovely TRAC badge.
As a beginner, I was warmly welcomed by this community in a very short period of time. Sometimes I wonder why I did not start mapping earlier, but it’s never too late. The journey has begun now, and I look forward to taking on many more challenges in the future.
So keep contributing!!
Thanks a lot
