My tips for better contribution on Google Maps

In most cases, contributors shared only one photo. Especially from the inside of buildings, which will result in a lot of identical indoor photos.

In my opinion, it is necessary to take at least two photos of buildings, one indoors and one that shows the entire building from the outside.

Of course, it is important to respect local regulations and privacy rights.

Here is my most viewed contribution, where I took three photos. One from the outside of the building, and two on the inside.
When taking pictures indoors, I make sure people’s faces are not visible. For example when they are far away or their face is blurred due to indoor lighting.

The number of photos and of what are common questions @opepe good that you’re thinking about it. I wrote an article a while back which gives my thoughts on the topic https://www.localguidesconnect.com/t5/General-Discussion/How-Many-Photos-should-I-contribute-to-a-place-Quality-vs/m-p/1937613

I looked at your photos and the first two are ok because there are no people or they are distant and not in focus. Be a bit careful about people especially children - have a read of the User Contributed Content Policy Privacy section.
