"My submitted place is not reviewed for many days – need help"

Hello Google Maps team,

I submitted a place on Google Maps many days ago, but it still shows “Pending” and has not been reviewed. I selected the correct category and added accurate photos and location, which already exists on Google Maps satellite view. However, I did not receive any approval or rejection email.

Can someone from the team please manually review my submission and let me know the reason for the delay or rejection if any?

Thank you in advance.

Location name submitted: Herrie House

Hi @Yasirali

Private homes are not eligible for a pin on Google Maps. There needs to be an office with opening hours. And an office tending to only residents is not sufficient. If all private homes got added to Google Maps is would be less user-friendly. Public access is the key. Instead all private homes has an address on Google Maps.

Please see

Unfortunately, quite a few homes have been added, but that does not make it correct.

Might also be relevant for you.

But I have multiple things there like Herrie Dairy Form , Herrie Water Tarbaen and Herrie House that’s why I add it multiple people visit it and also it’s on the front of the road.

Response me

I told you private homes should not be added. So what do you want me to help you with?

It’s very bad experience with Google map because it’s cover multiple agricultural business and dairy form and water trbaen but google maps declares them just home.

Adding new places can be difficult without a lot of experience. Did you read and use the tips and tricks I shared in my second response to you?

Google Maps is keeping track of your contributions. And without a solid track record for succesfully adding new places this will be difficult. You need to build your trust score slowly over time. To do this you may even need to study the guidelines carefully.

Also, adding more places in close proximity with similar names can be a challenge as Google will go to great length to avoid duplicate places.
