My story how I became a part of Google's local guides community

I live in peshawar city. The road which leads to my home is labeled in Google maps, but not the exact location. That is why I faced problems in reaching my home from other places through Uber and careem. Also, I wasn’t able to share my exact labeled location with those concerned to me.
One day I opened Google and typed “how to add a place on Google maps”. The search engine properly guided me in adding my desired location to the Google maps. I added a mosque to the maps (as it is adjacent to my home address),naming " masjid hamza". Once I added the location successfully, I started trying searching it in Google, but I couldn’t find it, later on I came to know that Google takes its time to add the requested location to the maps.
In doing so Google gave me a notification asking me If I wanted to become a local Google guide and a part of the Connect community. I started clicking all the details that appeared in front of me regarding the local guides project. I thought it was the time to pay back in some useful way to the search engine Google that remains 24/7 available to help me. In this way I became the part of the Connect community.

Nice story @ComradeShah , a wonderful example of how Google maps can be quite useful in daily life.

Unfortunately your post was accidentally marked as spam. Did you edit it a number of times? That sometimes triggers the spam filter. Anyway: I have now released your post from the spam folder.

Thank you so much @JanVanHaver

Actually it was my first post on Connect. Will be thankful for your guidance in future. I don’t know if it was marked as spam. No I haven’t edited it, I posted it in a single go.
