My story about my second Home-Israel.

I came to Israel 20 years ago from Ukraine with my whole family. And with my first breath, I accepted this country as my second home.I love to travel in our small country at any opportunity, in any weather. There are so many places that I have not had time to see!I have a lot of photos from my trips. It is impossible to choose any one the best.I also love to travel the world. I’m interested in everything: cities, people, nature. I love to watch people in new places: how they talk, how they dress, what they delight, what they grieve. Although my English is far from perfect, I always try to communicate in English, I even try to memorize words in the local language!I gladly responded to the opportunity to help to Local Guides. I would like to help everyone in any matter: to find out and see the places I visited to decide where to go, or just to find out about unknown places.I think that I am helping to unite people as much as possible, helping to realize that we are not so
different, and we all live in the one home, which is called the planet Earth.

Hi @SvetaMarkel ,

Thank you for sharing with us.

Just wanted to let you know that I will remove the Hebrew label from your post, since you are writing in English.

As you know, all languages are welcome on Connect but most official communications are written in English. One of the main goals of Connect — and Local Guides — is bringing people together no matter where they are from or which language they speak. We all have the same passion: share our world with others.
