It was somewhere arround3 years back, I was traveling back from my hometown (Dhule) to Pune via Nagar Highway. We were 3 people and was looking place where we can have some tea, snacks and get fresh.
We crossed Shirdi, which is the very popular destination in India, we thought it would be very easy to find such a place but to our surprise, it was not. All the places, hotels restaurants on this route was having tea and snacks but no washrooms to get fresh. We also wanted some familiar name so that we could order something that we know.
after driving for almost 30 mins we found a place, Vitthal Kamat, which a famous chain of restaurants in this area. This place was available on maps but was having quite a little information. Till that time I had started reviewing places on google maps and thought of doing the same for this one. I clicked some pictures and added a detailed review of the same and voila, it is still one of my most viewed review as well as the pictures are the most viewed one. This made me realized how such small information from me helped so many people who were probably looking for a similar kind of place for their halt. From that time till today I keep adding information to google maps so that it would be helpful for others and would continue to do the same.
