It’s Sunday and you know what that means. Right? Soul Food Day! Yass honey. I and my mother went to a local soul food joint. Luckily, the lines weren’t as long as they usually are. We still had to wait to be served, but it was worth every minute. They had two flat-screen TVs playing sports to occupying you. The atmosphere was good and family like. This is my second time going there. I will admit the first time, I came I had their dressing with mac & cheese and something else I can’t remember the meat it was a long time ago. I wasn’t a fan of the dressing. On Sundays, I usually get turkey and dressing so because of this, I could not get it. I can’t speak for others just myself.
This time I had meatloaf, mac & cheese, and greens:
Yes, I was in the middle of eating when I snap a picture. It was good that I almost forgot to take the shot. The food is well seasoned and delicious. We didn’t eat inside because they didn’t have any room and people were coming into the restaurant. We ate our meals in the car. We were happy campers. Up under my plate, I had a cup of water. My mother paid for the food and I have no complaints.
