My reviews contributions aren't visible publicly when I check through incognito

Hi. I’ve written a long review with abt 10 pics… it was a negative experience n I honestly highlighted it. (No cuss words) but when I check through incognito mode I can’t see it on the businesses’ page. Why is this happening n what shd I do?

I can confirm from your public profile that you have added 46 reviews and only 38 of them are public. So you have more than one hidden review.

Google has automatic filters that hide your reviews so only you can see them. This can happen when some of your reviews violate the review guidelines.

Please use the form called Account Investigation for contributions not visible on Google Maps if you believe that some of your contributions have been wrongfully unpublished. Keep in mind, it takes several weeks for the check to be done, and you will not be notified about the result, so I suggest you check the status of your reviews once a week or so.

Because my Google reviews weren’t showing up , I made a new Google account n posted tru that. Could that be the issue? Shd I try deleting it the second profiles reviews n posting again tru my original profile? There’s no duplication as such.

You can have 2 Google accounts but only one can be signed up for the Local Guides program.

Actually even with my original account I didn’t sign up for any local guide program. I just wrote a lot of reviews n I happen to see the word local guide next to it. So how does this work? Now with the other account I’ve posted another review for the same business. Is that allowed?

I’ve edited my review so many times but it’s just not appearing on the company s page when I chk tru incognito. This particular business is continuing to harass us… so it’s really important for others to be warned as well. Pls help. This is the review

TAKE THIS AS A WARNING & God’s DIVINE INTERVENTION for protecting u against these SCAMSTERS. Hiring “Signature Frames” was the BIGGEST MISTAKE of our life! :sweat: The only “signature” thing about them is their lack of professionalism & their ability in frame-ing us into trustin them :confounded: READ some of the REVIEWS here n u will see a PATTERN.

1.My wedding was in Oct '22 and it’s Sep '24 now & inspite of 3 PPL following up- me , my mom n husband for 2 YEARS they’ve still not given us all the deliverables. Absolutely NO SHAME in LYING.

2.Kunal leured us in with his seemingly “professional” sales pitches, don’t go by his fancy English… we also fell for that n what followed was an endless string of LIES n FAKE PROMISES . " We’ll give it in 3 days ma’am… ", “We’ll surely get it done in 1 week Sir” , on loop!! Today’s excuse is - IT’S RAINING ! Wow! u must be standing on the road n editing rgt!

3.Kunal is the biggest FRAUD we’ve met in the Wedding Biz. When it came to gettin our business he’ll act all polite … But the min the PAYMENT is made we saw his TRUE FACE. 1.5L on UNPROFESSIONALS like these seemed like such a waste.He used the same tactics again to make me delete the prev review.

4.My engagement was fortunately done by another vendor who promptly deliverd it within 1 month of it. N here we r still RUNNING PILLAR to POLE for the LAST 2 YEARS. .

  1. Apparently there’s no one in his office to upload pics. Either he’s stingy or hires the wrong ppl. He didn’t LIVE STREAM the 1st day of the wedding for our relatives abroad… Imagine how STRESSFUL it’ll be for a bride n groom standing on STAGE with so many ppl around them!

  2. He lied abt coming to take the photos for the main event… Instead he sent a bunch of AMATEURS who we met just a couple of mins before our big day. We ddn’t even get the time to give them a brief of our vision. They also turned up LATE n missed the important BRIDES entry which is such a special thing for a girl !

Yes we took time to select the pics but that’s cause u made us do all the heavy lifting of sifting tru 800+ pics. Continuous shots n heavy files that took time to load. Very conviently dumped on us. Well played!

A lot of pics with our relatives disappearing the so called " BOKEH EFFECT" …

The post wedding photographers were extremely rude n unprofessional…

Minting lakhs by fooling INNOCENT PEOPLE who just innocently believed ur Insta pics is pure cheating… I thought we were the only ones but after going thru so many REVIEWS I’m SHOCKED to see so many frustrated clients…

11.While we empathize with ur medical issue , u CANNOT use that as an EXCUSE !! If u r so sick , pls stay at home n not do a job where people’s emotions are involved. First CLEAR the BACKLOG of ur existing clients before hunting for new ones!! Stop making us chase u every single day for things that YOU OWE US. We trusted u n paid u so much money!

12.For u it’s just a quick get rich scheme but FOR US it’s an ONCE IN A LIFETIME EVENT.u are a compulsive liar who has Utter DISREGARD for the CLIENT’S TIME !

To those reading- There are tons of OTHER dependable, professional photographers in CHENNAI… But Signature Frames is NOT one of them.

& NO , I’m not deleting the review this time. Let this be a lesson for u in not taking the CLIENT’S TIME & SENTIMENTS for GRANTED. It’s not going to take away the 2 yrs of STRESS u put us through but we can SAVE OTHERS.! U can’t just wish away honest REVIEWS with last minute apologies n manipulating sympathy Kunal… KARMA will catch up with u eventually !

We had the worst experience with Signature Frames. Our wedding was in Oct 2022 & it’s Oct 2024 now. We paid 1.5L for the photos n videos. Even with 3 people continuously following up - me , my mom n husband for the last 2 Years- the soft copies of the edited pictures , raw videos & the edited videos are pending.

The post wedding video was just 40 seconds. The industry standard is 2-5 mins. Inspite of us giving feedback they refused to change it. The ending was abrupt. Overall editing - dull & uninspiring.

The lies, fake promises & false excuses like it’s raining , medical reasons ,etc are continuing till date. When it came to getting our business they behaved politely but after the payment was made, their attitude completely changed.

We were pressured to delete the previous review with a promise that our videos will be given to us & it’s been 3 weeks since. Again they didn’t’t do it. Felt betrayed.

No live stream of the 1st day of the wedding for our relatives abroad… It wasn’t communicated properly to us. It was so frustrating.

We were lied to about the head coming to take photos for the main event… Instead amateurs were sent in (who we met only last min ).

We didn’t get the time to give them a brief of our vision.They were also late & missed photographing the important brides entry.

We took time to select the photos because we were made to do all the heavy lifting of sifting through 800+ photos , a lot of repetitive photos made it tougher. Ideally the company does this work.

A lot of photos with our relatives blurred out.

Post wedding photographers - rude & disrespectful.

Constructive feedback - The backlog of existing clients should be cleared before looking for new ones so we don’t feel cheated n taken for granted. There seems to exist an utter disregard for the client’s time. In a job where people’s emotions are involved so no excuse for delays is acceptable that too after 2 long years of constant follow ups n waiting. The business must take their responsibility seriously… It’s our memories they are holding up n we deserve to get what they owe us.

I would like to inform you that I have moved your reply to your initial post. Hijacking the content of another post that is completely unrelated to your problem does not help in any way to solve it.
This way I will be able to better understand why your review was not posted.
I am very sorry for your situation, and I am sure that the business deserves a negative review, but your long history will very unlikely be posted.
This can happen for many reasons, but the most likely is that the AI ​​found it a personal outburst, moreover written with a lot of capital words and with abbreviations that are difficult to read and translate (for example u instead of you, n instead of and, and so on).
it is possible to write a negative review in a much simpler and more concise way.
Many of those who have had a negative experience tend to describe it in detail, not realizing that this often gets it blocked, also to protect the writer from legal complaints, and that if it is published no one will read it, precisely because of its length, and excessive use of emojis.
The review could also be blocked because of one or more of the attached images. This is an easy test to do: delete the photos and publish the review without images. If it is not published then it could be due to the text.
However, it could also be that the owner of the business reported the review, and an operator found it inappropriate.
In this case, deleting the review and writing a more concise one, and that does not sound like a personal outburst, could help. And if that does not work you can always appeal, to have the review verified by a member of the Google Maps team

We had a very disappointing and stressful experience with Signature Frames.Extremely unprofessional throughout. Our wedding was in October 2022 and as of October 2024, we still haven’t received edited album pictures, raw footage or the final wedding video despite paying 1.5L and following up for two years. The post wedding video was only 40 seconds, far below the 2 to 5 minute industry standard. The photographers were rude and made disrespectful remarks. Even after feedback about the lack of creativity, they refused to make changes, leaving the final product feeling incomplete. Communication became difficult after payment, and excuses and delays are still on. No live stream was provided on day one, disappointing relatives abroad. Despite being promised that the owner would photograph the main event, inexperienced staff missed key moments, including the bride’s entrance. We also had to sift through 800 photos for the album ourselves, many of which were repetitive and blurred family members.
I strongly urge the company to focus on completing current projects before taking on new ones and to seriously work on client feedback. Delays of this magnitude are unacceptable, especially for something as important as wedding. We deserve to get what we paid for.

Also I have filled the Google form for that account verification for Google review thing. Is that what u are talking about when u said we can get it verified by a Google maps member?

This is the form I am talking about, @Nandita_14 : Account investigation for contributions not visible on Google Maps . Normally a profile is checked in 6 - 8 weeks. Please do not make any change after submitting the form, because it will appear as a new review, submitted after the submission of the form, and may not be included in the check.

I would like to suggest you an interesting reading, a masterpiece that I only saw yesterday (sorry for this, TG) written by one of the mentor of both the Indian and the Global Community, Connect, @TravellerG : A Quick Guide for Writing ‘Effective Google Maps Reviews’ in my experience . An excellent post where you will be able to find a lot of tips and all the links to the rules and the guidelines about reviews in Google Maps.

It would be very helpful to tag the person you are responding to by typing @, followed by the username of the Local Guide that aou want to mention. If it is a recent reply it will appear in a pop-up, so you will have to simply select it.

Let me add that I am really sorry about your experience. A wedding is one of the milestones of our life, and missing the photos is deeply impacting.

I’ve checked the business listing, and a lot of people is in the same situation. That’s really bad

@TravellerG i read ur article. I’ve really thought out my new review and it’s purely sticking to facts without any emotional charge to it. Please read this n tell me if u feel like its violating any policies. I don’t think it is but for some reason my review on this company is just not publicly available when I check tru incognito. For now I’ve deleted it but this is the review - June 2022: Hired Signature Frames for our wedding, paying 1.5L. After payment, their attitude completely changed.

October 2022: On our wedding day, there was no communication about how we wanted the photos taken. The promised live stream was not provided, disappointing relatives abroad. The owner failed to photograph the main event, sending inexperienced staff who were late and missed capturing the bride’s entrance.

October 2022 - February 2023: They disappeared completely, with no updates on our deliverables.

February 2023: During the post-wedding photoshoot, the photographers were impatient and made disrespectful remarks.

February 2023 - July 2023: We constantly followed up for soft copies, but there was no sign of the wedding videos, not even the raw footage.

January 2024: We sifted through over 800 photos to select album photos ourselves, which should have been done by the company.

January 2024 - September 2024: Continued follow-ups were met with excuses about rain, being busy with other events, and no one being in the office.

September 2024: The agreement was to get the videos along with the album.Only got the albums.

September 2024: We received a 40-second post-wedding video, far shorter than the 2 to 5 minutes industry standard. The edit lacked creativity and was uninspiring.

October 2024: We are still waiting for the edited soft copies, raw videos, and traditional videos. Daily calls result in new excuses, with the company claiming they have other priorities.

This timeline highlights our extremely stressful experience and this review serves as a cautionary tale for others considering Signature Frames. The indefinite delays and lack of professionalism have caused immense anxiety. We urge the company to complete current projects before taking on new ones, as client satisfaction should be the goal. Work is worship, and clients should not be taken for granted. We deserve to see our wedding

Extremely sorry to hear your plight and sincerely sympathize with you. Since two very senior LG Connect Moderators have trouble shooted your case, I’m also drained with solutions to salvage your review.

Instead, I can suggest that your husband and parents can write precise reviews and post them - be short and at the point, probably by giving two stars (one star may be too rude, though these people deserve it). According to me, these will show up… my suggestion will be to avoid photos, please.
