My reviews aren’t published

Hi,

I’m a local guide level 7 and more than 2.2 millions views, however recently i noticed that my reviews and comments wouldn’t be published. There was nothing unusual since the last post except that i owned a new i phone. Is there anything I need to look into?

I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue. Changing to a new iPhone usually isn’t the reason why reviews stop being published.

Here are a few things you can check:

  • Make sure your reviews follow the Google Maps content policies and don’t contain prohibited or repetitive content.
  • Visit your Google Maps profile while signed in and see if your recent reviews are visible publicly.
  • Ensure you’re using the same Google account that you use for your Local Guides contributions.
  • If the issue continues, you can visit the Google Maps Help Community or wait for a Connect Moderator to guide you further.

Unpublished reviews is not the only issue, you are facing. You posted 724 photos and 129 videos, but only 777 are public, thus 75 photos or videos, but only 17 reviews are hidden:

If photo or videos are attached to you review and only one is rejected by the SPAM filter, the entire review and all other attached media are hidden.

Therefore, if you discover a hidden review, as a first step, I recommend removing all attached photos and videos. If the text-only review is published, you can add the media again, but one by one, to understand which one was causing the rejection.

حاول تكتب اكثر من 200 حرف للمراجعة وتأكد من اضافة أشياء مهمة مثلا يوجد دورة مياة لا يوجد أماكن جلوس ، راح يطلع تعليقك …

Recently, I’ve realized that if I attach a video to a review, it won’t be visible to people (When I checked my profile in incognito mood). Do you attach videos to your reviews ?

Thank you all for your contribution and support. Actually, I spent sometimes to apply your recommendations and I could get some of my hidden reviews to be published but others are still unpublished. I have many hidden reviews with photos and videos. Now, I noticed that some reviews are published but has no counter besides them telling how many times they have been viewed by visitors.
