My reviews and high-quality photos are not appearing publicly on Google Maps—Why?

Hello Local Guides & Moderators, :waving_hand:

I am facing an issue with my contributions on Google Maps.

I put a lot of effort into taking high-quality, original photos and writing detailed, helpful reviews for businesses and places I visit. However, I noticed that my reviews and photos are not showing up publicly on Maps for other users.

Has anyone experienced this before? What could be the reasons behind this, and how can I fix it or get my reviews reviewed/unhidden?

I would really appreciate your guidance and advice!

I face the same issue frequently. Have you tried to make the review without any photos then upload the photos later on ?

Hi @abn.amri

I think you will need to read the photo guidelines again.

I saw a lot of duplicate and redundant photos under your Maps profile. This is considered a form of spam. And Google will impose sanctions for this. So currently about 1000 of your photos and videos are taken down by the AI spamfilters.

If there is an issue with a photo or video the whole review will be removed as @M_Yones explained.

Let me know if you want to put in the work to fix your issues? It can be a lot of work.

Hi

Thank you so much for taking the time to check my profile and explain the issue! I clearly understand now.

I really appreciate your guidance!

Hello @abn.amri,
not only duplicate or redundant media are violating the rules. Even worse is posting the same to different listings, as you can see with your most recent photos:

After the filter reacting more rigidly, this can eventually cause a permanent ban.

Thank you very much for your kind guidance

Repeated photos deleted

thank you:folded_hands:

Sorry. But I still see many more duplicates and similar photos in your contribution list.

Hi Morten,

Thanks for checking again. I am still working on deleting the duplicates, but as you mentioned, it requires a lot of effort and time due to the large number of photos.

Is there an easier or faster way/tool to identify and delete all duplicate photos at once?

I appreciate your help!

Unfortunately not, @abn.amri

Thank you for replying to me

Except not uploading them in the first place :winking_face_with_tongue:

Adding the same image 3 times is spam. You have a lot of spammy images in your account, so delete them.

Thank you very much for your observation:+1:

I wish you success :folded_hands:

Thank you @abn.amri .
