My review been published for only few days and then been hidden.

Hi All.

I have problem with my review that not been published or been hidden (?). It happend for months already.

Every time I review one or more places, it is only published for a few days, then it is not published again, even though it is still there in my account. This makes me frustrated because the impact is that my photos in the review don’t get more views.

I have two accounts, and on the other account there are no problems, always published, either review of the same place or different place.

Attached are some reviews that are not been published anymore which you can’t see from your account but still in my account.

Having w accounts signed up to the Local Guides program is not allowed. If your second account is not an LG account there is not a problem.

The spam filter is likely the culprit here.

Keep in mind that the trigger might not be in the review text itself. Try deleting the attached photos and check if your review goes public. If so, try adding the photos back one by one and keep checking. This way you can figure out which photo was the culprit.

Furthermore, the spam filter looks at your overall performance and track record as a local guide. So completely unrelated violations can also cause reviews to be removed from public view.

You have a lot of hidden reviews.

I can confirm from your public profile that you have added 467 reviews and only 295 of them are public.

Google has automatic filters that hide your reviews so only you can see them. This can happen when some of your reviews violate the review guidelines.

If you want to identify which of your reviews are hidden check this post.

Please use the form called Account Investigation for contributions not visible on Google Maps if you believe that some of your contributions have been wrongfully unpublished. Keep in mind, it takes several weeks for the check to be done, and you will not be notified about the result, so I suggest you check the status of your reviews once a week or so.

Your issue with no photo views being shown is largely unrelated to your problem with hidden reviews. There is a known bug at play.

Thank you for the detailed reply, and I will repley one by one.

About 2 gmail accounts, yes I use both for LG account, so I will stop the other account for LG. If I want to stop the other LG account (not by deleting the gmail account), would you please let me know how to do that, because I still need that gmail account for other activity.

About the filter spam, do we can avoid it?

But I will follow your suggestion by deleting the attached photos on the rewiew and then check it again to find the culprit.

About unrelated violation or it means I violate the review guideline, I don’t think so because of it, because I already read the guideline well, and also when the review in this LG account been hidden, then I made the same review (copy paste) on the second LG account and the result is good, published, and not been hidden which means I think I do not violate the guidline.

What I have is, if my review with attached photos been hidden, then all the photos in the review also do not exist in the place I reviewed, seems been hidden too. I cheked by seeing ‘Photo By You’

I have shared some tips on how best to leave the Local Guides Program here. It will help you understand the consequences and select which leave method is best for you.

Posting the same text from two accounts is easily detected and can lead to sanctions.

I’m not challenging your argument, but there is an ongoing bug that might over shadow or enlarge the issue.

When reading you reviews I see that you rarely describe or mention your experience but share mainly general remarks. That could be part of your issue. Please see the 4 steps link I already shared

About leaving the LG, as you said two google accounts do not allowed to be used both for LG, so I think I will use the A, I will delete one Connect account permanently, and I will only use this LG Account.
