The most interesting thing as Local Guide is when people don’t understand why am i doing this. Like my friends and family sees me taking Pictures of anything and everything and they’re like “Of what good use is this to you?”
Then i sometimes explain that i love doing it and those points, Achievements makes me more dedicated towards it. Interestingly since last 2 years, i convinced some 20-30 of my friends to be a Local Guide as well. They’re loving it and so do I.
Being a Local Guide motivates to travel and then email comes regarding my performance, that boosts me up Everytime. Then those perks are par excellent.
Overall being here just gives me a Reason to Travel to offbeat places and add those to Maps
