I had never been to a hotel. But, now I know everything about this hotel through someone very close to me. Is it right for me to write a review of this hotel?
That’s not a technical, legal or conceptual question, but rather an ethical one. My opinion would be: If you trust the judgement of the person that is “very close” to you, and if you’re sure that your near friend or relative is not biased but balanced in the hotel/restaurant evaluation, I would support you to use his/her statement. But I would mention it in all fairness. Like: “My dad stayed two nights at the … hotel and shared later that the room was clean and well taken care of. As I know my dad, he is not necessarily picky. But he mentioned that the breakfast buffet was not so generous as expected.” Hope that helps you @jakiripsc .
@Red_Camel Thank you so much for your nice voice.
Hi @jakiripsc
According to the guidelines from Google Maps it is not okay to review a place on behalf of others.
Sorry
