We’re lucky to live within the vicinity of some very lovely parks. Canberra is built around several large (manmade) lakes, with park land, bike paths, gardens and playgrounds around these. Whilst playgrounds are closed right now due to Corona virus, we are still being encouraged to go on walks as long as we stay as far away from other people as possible.
We collected some pond water for an ecosphere project we’re working on, as we’re also home schooling in Australia now until life is back to normal.
If you’re interested in the ecosphere project – it is very simple and based on taking observations mainly. Follow this link to join in. [ https://youtu.be/Jikt132Qhwo ]

I have just released your post from the Spam Filters. I would like to apologize for your post being marked as spam. Our filters run 24/7 and they can be a little harsh at times. You can visit this article to learn more: Why was my Connect post marked as spam?
I relabeled your post and it now appears in the Local Stories topic. Here, you’ll learn about Local Guides around the globe who are making a positive impact in their communities, efforts to improve accessibility, and more. Whether you’re on a mission to save the environment or want to make it easier for people in wheelchairs to get around, this section was created for Local Guides who are advocates in their community.
By the way, I’m going to merge your post to another one which is the same and you will be able to see it there.
It’s still a bit warm here during the day (under 20 degrees Celsius) but even in Autumn and Winter when it is cold, it can be very sunny so it’s still nice to go out for walks. Canberra is known for it’s cold weather, so we have to adjust and enjoy being outside even when it’s cool.
