For some reason my photos aren’t being posted publicly, where I can see them from the map. I recently (10/25) added a high school, Northridge High School, in Tuscaloosa, AL to Google maps. Previously, all the map listed was the Northridge high school field house, which is basically where the athletic debarment has their locker rooms. Soon after I added the actual school to the map, I got an email stating it had been added. That weekend, I went out and took a bunch of pictures to add to the location since there were not any. Initially, one of my fourteen pictures were added. Now, none of them show up, and there is just the street view. I added some actual pictures of the field house and they were not there either.
There was a similar situation with the park next door. I added Field of Dreams to the map and then added some pictures. One of the five pictures is there, but the rest of them disappeared. I added 2 pictures of the actual field house and they did not show up either. I added multiple pictures of the elementary school, but only two show up.
When I look at my contributions in my account, it says “Photos: 153 Views: 542,145”, but when I look when I am logged in with a different account, it says “Photos: 131 Views: 542,145,” and it does not show any of the pictures I cannot see from the map. I spent quite a bit of time taking the pictures (I used my drone, phone, and camera), so I am trying to figure out why they are missing. I wanted to take more pictures of local places that are missing them, but if they are never going to be useful to anyone, I might as well not waste my time. If there is a limit for a certain location, I can understand that, but all my pictures were different (aerial, different views, etc.), and some of the locations did not have a single picture posted. Can anyone help me understand?

Hi @jsdolphin14 there can be many reasons why images get marked private which means only you can see them. This usually happens because they don’t comply with the User Contributed Content Policy https://support.google.com/contributionpolicy/answer/7422880 or because the places themselves are removed.
Contributing a lot of very similar images will also cause most of them to be marked private.
Generally speaking most places only need two or three photos. More than that is excessive unless you’re trying to show off a diverse set of products for a store or its somewhere large like a theme park, gallery or museum.

Я обновила свой профиль,почистила кэш и cookie,добавила и синхронизировала учетную запись. Что я делаю неправильно почему у меня возникают недоразумения?Пожалуйста, помогите понять.
Искренне признательна за полученную вовремя информацию. (имя и фамилия на русском языке- пригодно ли это для сервиса?)

Oбратите внимание, что некоторые ваши вклады могут быть помечены как частные, если они не соответствуют нашим правилам (обзоры, фотографии и видео, сообщество). Фотографии низкого качества или дублирующие такие могут быть удалены нашими внутренними фильтрами.
Также обратите внимание, что я объединю ваш пост с аналогичным, поскольку они представляют одну и ту же тему.

Me and a couple of my photographer friends have been trying to upload pictures to local guides and maps recently. But not a single photo has shown up in Google Maps on any business we upload them to. I think this may be a bug because they don’t even show in our contributions and we are not getting any points attributed to the photos - not that we care about those, just want to help out the local community during the current time with some great photos of their businesses. A couple of the awesome cafes we visited during our trip we left reviews for, they held but the images that we put along with the reviews were gone! Any reason for this?

@AshleighGeraldine0 Thank you for reaching out! There are different reasons. Since you are new to the LG program, plus the COVID situation, all things are taking longer time. At the meantime, please do a quick search on the topic.

Hi @jsdolphin14 that watermark may be considered distracting. It looks like you’re advertising a photography business rather than a hobbiest too. I would recommend you check out Maps User Contributed Content Policy and the Local Guides Program Terms and Conditions.
It would be fine if it said Josh Dolphin, but remember they cannot be distracting to the viewer.

@jsdolphin14 …I recently visited a restaurant and posted 5 pics and my review . However , only one photo is seen in the Google maps. I gave it some time and uploaded again today but still does not reflect in the Google maps.

Thanks @Dinakar1 I see no issue with that review at all, I was thinking it may be a possibility that the review itself was private but its publicly available and I see the one image on it. The image quality is also fine (better than a lot of people actually).
@Bobiisha could you please arrange for this one to be looked at. I think something strange happened here.
Dinakar took five photos on mobile at a food place. He posted a review after he got home on wifi with five photos. The review and one of the photos is public at https://g.co/kgs/cJSLz8 but the other four photos are not there. Dinakar doesn’t seem them either. I’ve seen other people comment on this from time to time. Dinakar is helpful and cooperative with all my questions trying to understand what has happened and his level of quality is good.
