Lately most of my pictures I upload are not being published.
Anybody having the same problem?
If so, do you know why this is happening and why?
Can we fix this issue?

Regarding your question, I can see that 281 of your 4507 photos are not visible on your profile. In fact, the filter has become particularly sensitive in the last two years, and often blocks legitimate images. Since you are in Spain I imagine you can see the symbol indicating blocked images. Sometimes, by clicking on these images, we are also offered the opportunity to appeal. Has this happened to you, and if so, have you tried to appeal?
Unfortunately we cannot comment on images that we do not see. However, we can comment on what we see, and there are several problems there, some small, others more serious. For example:
- Redundancy. There are many “similar” photos of the same subjects, especially related to food. Posting multiple photos of the same dish is considered “inappropriate” because it does not provide further information on the photographed subject. In practice Maps considers it just a trick to earn more points.
- Privacy: The application of the European GDPR on privacy is often applied very restrictively in Spain, so I advise you to remove all images where you can see other people’s faces.
- Duplicates across Locations: There are some images uploaded to more than one location. This is absolutely prohibited in Maps: each image can only be used once

Thank you for your detailed answer.
I triple-checked all what you saig and it is true that some reviews now are published and ok (I only uploaded 1 per “dish” as you suggested and it worked).
But some others (specially those which were older) still have the same problem. I removed “repeated” images but still the review is not publish and I cannot appeal.
I sent a complain by form to Google. I don´t understand why because I comply with all the policies, I think.
Will wait for an answer and let you know.

Comprendo tu malestar porque a mi me pasa a menudo y no entiendo el motivo.
Tengo publicadas más de 10.000 fotos aparte de casi 2.000 reseñas bastante completas y otras muchas contribuciones. Intento cumplir los requisitos exigidos por Google e incluso alguno que no se pide como el que no se vea a personas por el tema de protección de datos, pero aun así tengo muchas fotos bloqueadas y sin poder apelar. Las he eliminado y vuelto a subir, continuando con el bloqueo. Sólo he descubierto que cuando subo muchas fotos a la vez es cuando suele producirse el problema.
Sin embargo para mi sorpresa, en algunos casos esos filtros tan estrictos no son aplicados y me crea la duda si son selectivos por países o tipo de fotografía pues hay Local Guides con más de 300.000 fotos publicadas (casi 2.000.000 de puntos) siendo la gran mayoría repetidas de forma sistemática con el handicap de que apenas tienen Reseñas u otras contribuciones. Aquí un ejemplo:
Como pueden ver, la mayoría de las fotos de estos LG son repetidas sin ninguna información adicional que ayude al visitante ¿porque no se impide la publicación sistemática de fotos repetidas, fáciles de discriminar pues tienen los mismos colores o tonalidades y sin embargo filtran otras que no incumplen los requisitos?
Pienso que los filtros implementados deberían estar mejor calibrados para evitar estas situaciones.

Aunque lo he investigado, no se el procedimiento para marcar un perfil como inapropiado.
Accedí a una de sus fotos y la marque como inapropiada acompañando un mensaje explicando el caso.
No se si eso bastará.

Siento mucha impotencia porque llevo años publicando y actualizando el mapa de Google y últimamente me bloquean 2 de 3 reseñas. Ayer mismo creé una nueva todo con fotos genuinas, recién hechas por mí, cumpliendo las políticas sin repetir platos, sin que salga nada que afecte a la privacidad de nadie etc… y aún así me la han bloqueado.
Si esto sigue así me parece que se acabará mi contribución.
Y más viendo perfiles y actividades como las que muestras (entiendo que una gran mayoría deben ser reseñas antiguas en las que aún no existía este nuevo “filtro” destroyer. Veremos que sucede…
