My Photo Tale in Hanoi

Hey guys its me Amalan from Sri Lanka. Last month I went on for a 5 day trip to Vietnam with my friends. And guess what, I am so excited and amazed to see it in real life, with the country I have only watched in videos or read about in books before. Our first destination is Hanoi, and its the Day Kim Jong-un and Donald trump is coming for a talk. So our guide said its better to walk than take a vehicle…!

On my way from Airport I saw a Board saying Hanoi the Garden City…! That’s true the walk our guide took through the city proved it.

All the shops had flowers and was able to see more flower shops and fruit shops than of any cities I have visited in my whole life. And I am lucky enough to take this photo of a Banana Farmer who is distributing bananas for shops.

Walk around the Kiem Lake is astonishing, on a week day the city is a bit busy, but on weekends the roads around the lake is closed, people bring all sorts of dogs to walk, people dance for music, early morning drill practices.

Hanoi is known to be the cultural capital of Vietnam, so can see cultural, historical and religious places around the city.

First we went to see the One Pillar Pagoda, the Pagoda stands on a Pillar, Sounds amazing isnt it?

Then little further we came to the Yellow House, the place is built as a Reply for the White House in USA said the guid.

Around the Yellow House you will find the place Ho Chi Min live briefly for some time.

Then we moved to the Ho Chi Min, Memorial Structure, said to know that they still preserve the remain of Ho Chi Min here

Then we moved on to the Temple of Literature, its a place of history of literature and education, the place looks like a King’s court and a park mixed together with places that actually are used for the purpose of learning

I am a PokemonGo player and one day in the early mornings when wondering around blindly in Vietnam came across this beautiful Cathedral

Sometimes PokemonGo helps you find hidden things ?

And the night life here is colorful and beautiful. People dance in street , Magic shows.
Cyclo Rides(Best way to see around the city), Egg Coffee these are 2 things that you should never forget to do in Hanoi.

And last but not least if you are a fan of dogs you will find many varieties of breeds at night or weekends. I have never seen this much of breeds in one place before. Thanks to my friend Nimesha I was able to share these photos of them ?

And thats it for now folks, catch me in the next post with an update on my visit to Halong Bay ?
