As you know, Metropole cinema is the oldest surviving movie theater in Jakarta,
Since Metropole cinema was constructed in 1932 and given the name Bioscoop Metropool in Dutch languange.
Following the renovation from 2009 to 2015, Metropole is carefully renovated and restored to its former glory and repurposed as a classy establishment.
And today the name change back to Metropole XXI.

For me, Metropole XXI is the most favorite place to watch movies (besides the delicious food there ya ^^)
