I cannot describe to you what trauma feels like on the inside, but I can tell you how it feels to heal slowly. It happens every time I visit one of many beautiful places I have taken, and shared photographs of since becoming a local guide.
I lost my oldest 21 year old daughter to a shooting in 2015. I then lost my second daughter three years later in 2018, also age 21. Ever since then, I have this need to share photos of any beautiful place that I find healing to me. Indianapolis is rich with parks and beauty. My hope is that if anything were to happen to me, my loved ones would be able to see the things I found so beautiful that they helped me keep going in life. The other reason I submit my photos and reviews is because deep down, I hope my contributions help to keep someone else going also when life can be so hard to look at
My reviews are almost always my way of trying to help others know what to expect when going to any business that should have user or visitor reviews.
