It is strange. When I arrive to a new place, or visit again an old place I always ask for the opening and closing hours. Inmediatedly, after getting the information from the cashier, waiter or owner (who look me with a weird look), I go to Google Maps and update the opening and closing hours.
But, it has his own explanation. I do that because has happened to me several times that I drove far away only to find, when I arrive, that the place is closed during lunch time, closed until the next day or is closed saturday afternoon.
Also, there is another obsession. Having the places populated with multiple photos. But not the same boring photos from the dishes or menu. Instead of that, I like to upload photos from the front entrance of the place (so if you go driving you won’t miss it), photos of the inside (so you can tell if the place is small enough for a romantic dinner or if the place is big enough for your 30 people birthday party).
And that makes me happy. Sharing useful information through Google Maps for being used by many people as possible. And the world changes everyday: new places open, old places relocate, opening hours change, new furniture arrives, new trees in the main entrance. Everything changes, and I will be there to bring that new world to you.
