My Motivation :Hi guys I am Balaji Presently am level 8 local guide. I have completed my b.e in computer science engineering and went for India’s highest Civil service exam. I travel a lot of places in India. I was totally depressed because I was not able to qualify for IAS exam. So I just wanted somehow to give back my talent and efforts to world community. It all started with google maps by writing review and uploading photos to gmaps . soon it felt me good. I took one photo in my village and started watching how many views I may get. One day I came to Bangalore and took Orion mall photo I got 1840 views for one photo in 2 days. I thought how can I get a photo this many views for this not for others. Hence I started research how to get more views for my photos in gmaps. Finally I was able to decode this started taking pics whereever I went and started adding reviews. I kept myself as competition to reach next level . Now I am staying in villages I wanted to reach next levels and need more points hence I started answering questions in gmaps whereever I went. That’s it I got a backup plan for my points. Now I got into addiction for gmaps. I keep checking my points and photo views everyday. It gives me self motivation and giving back to community what I felt. Within 3 month I got one lakh views of photos it boosted my happiness to contribute more to gmaps. Now am a level 8 local guide. I would like to be part of Google meet-up because I have broad knowledge about India as I have studied 8 years for Indian administrative service in Delhi and am a software engineer. I like to improve myself and help community to give best by reviewing techniques I like to learn more about gmaps reviewing techniques. I am a big fan of local guide concept that is connecting people with each other.
