I believe that really big things are the result of a large number of people and volunteers working together. Google Maps is one of such project. Maps allow you to see new places, find out the streets, mountains, understand actual information about a specific place, work schedule and reviews about various places and establishments.
Now, in the modern world with a smartphone and the Internet, sometimes even without the Internet, without knowing the language of the country where you are going - you can find the right place and the road almost anywhere in the world.
Who else but local people know about their native places is better? And Google makes it possible to share this information with the rest literally in a few clicks on the screen.
Maps become more than navigation…
it’s an opportunity to learn everything about a particular place or route, it’s already a quality control and an opportunity for people to learn more about the world/country/city. Google maps provide a platform for millions of people to create a better product that opens borders, gives ideas about a store around the corner or a coffee shop on the other side of the world. And it is wonderful and accessible to everyone.
I use maps at home, in local and abroad travel. And I also want to tell more about the places where I am the rest, since I trust Google Maps. My contribution to the Google Map is my thanks to the rest for their contributions. Help in this project - improves the lives of others.
