My most interesting thing I've done as a Local Guide : Morning Walk in Kampong Sanan

I do not know whether because this is the first meeting of Malang Local Guide that I followed or basically I really like visiting the village, or maybe because of both.???

In Malang City, Sanan is the name of a Kampong and also home industry. However, interestingly with other thematic kampongs in Malang City, Kampong Sanan is a green home industry. I think this is an interesting finding that can be used as a case study.

The process of green home industry activities is as follows.
Soybean processed products are the main products produced by Kampong Sanan. There are various soybean derivative products, call it tempeh, tempeh chips, tempeh chocolate etc. Making tempeh begins with boiling. Boiled soybeans will produce waste in the form of soy skin and boiled water left over. Then the soybeans are allowed to stand and given yeast to produce tempeh.

We know from the results of making tempe earlier it produces 2 waste. Soybean skin waste is used by the community as cow food and the remaining boiled water as a cow drink. There are about 20 cows in Kampong Sanan and the results are used as fuel for lighting and cooking. In addition, cow dung stored in the digester can also be used for organic fertilizer.

Hai @yunitaratih61 .

Yes meet-ups always be fun, and a memorable even.

You are lucky to meet wonderful Local Guides such as mbak @NunungAfuah and creative writer @iorikun301 .

Seem the Kampong Sanan is an ecotourism, seem they reduce waste almost near zero, everything is recycled.

Thank you.

Wah, baru tahu kalau Mbak @yunitaratih61 bikin tulisan ini. Makasih sudah di-tag, Pak @BudiFXW . Saya memang suka kurang teliti kalau baca-baca di Connect. Wkwkk…

Ini meet up terakhir Malang Local Guides, btw. Soalnya sehabis itu kan ada negara api menyerang. Sedih, deh…
