I volunteer for a local MainStreet organization. In wanted to setup a My Maps for the sights and restaurants to share to tourists. When I add a location to the Map and someone clicks on it only the information I input is shown, not the address, ratings and normal info shown when doing a normal search. Is it possible to have the "regular” information show when they tap on the pin I made on My Map?

You described your issue very well.
I looked at one of My Maps on my Android and the normal view is shown as expected when I click on a pin.
Could it be that you are still in Edit mode for the My Map. Please end the editing and then try again. Maybe using another device.

Google my map is one type of customize map and in this map people are only able to see information and photos shared by us @Fr33fall
I would advise you to create a map list instead of a May map.

I looked at the Map Lists but I wanted to put a few dozen stores and restaurants and categorize them. I may just have to make separate lists.
