Mango in India is also known as King of Fruits. There are many numbers of mango varieties.
Every year we use to go to mango farm and pick mangoes by ourselves and we used to send them to our friends and close people But this year there is a different picture due to lockdown. We are not going out but we are trying to send mangos to our people like every year but this year they are special due to the ongoing difficult times.
Mangoes contain a high level of vitamin C, fibre and pectin making it a perfect fruit that helps in controlling high cholesterol level. The summer season in India is often remembered as Mango season as mangos are loved by all people irrespective of age.
Safeda or Banaganapalli mangos are the most popular and widely cultivated variety of mango in our state (Andhra Pradesh) which have a very beautiful yellow colour and are sweet and fibreless.
