I am passionate about small local businesses that are able to survive in the urban area and bring some comfort and peace. Especially when you discover this place on unpredictable occasions during unplanned trips and you are ready to die for coffee in the middle of nowhere.
Nowy Sacz is a wonderful small city in Poland, located in the Malopolska region. Every time when I come to that place I feel nostalgic as this lovely city combined modern infrastructure with old-fashioned buildings.
My lurking-place was founded in the heart of the beautiful park Planty and it`s called Kawiarnia Spóźniony Słowik. It is a cozy small café hidden from the outer world. When I first ordered some coffee and a cake I was impressed with a super-friendly waitress who offered me another glass of lemonade as it was hot and she smiled. The cafe is full of light and trees, flowers in creative vases. I was sitting on a bench for a couple of minutes like in the park listening to some singing birds. I spent in this atmosphere for almost 3 hours and went out refreshed and happy!
This is what I love sharing most on Google Maps – in such lovely small local places people seem different, they enjoy what they do and share good emotions.
When I travel I always try to find more tiny cafes or pubs as you can definitely rest there and have a good company to talk about life.
