Whenever i plan to visit a new place… I spend some time on google map first… Reason is very simple… i get the complete information @ single place (like reviews, rating, photos) which is very helpful… and good point is…this information is more reliable than the other platform like Facebook, Instagram or twitter… Also i get the traffic and distance information in a one glance…
Similarly, when i visit the new place… i always love to add photos, write reviews & give rating… Usually i emphasis to adding photos… i believe that whenever i add the new photo … the google map platform become bigger and help other peoples to explore places… Same goes with the rating and review… both are very helpful to other users…
for example… if you want to visit a restaurant for a dinner (with your family) which is totally unknown for you… So you have a few options… like, Go directly without doing any research (there is a always chances of backfire), Search on social media (like Facebook,Twitter etc) or Ask someone…
But you have one more trustworthy option available which is google map… you can easily view the rating of restaurant, read reviews or view photos (you can also get the direction and traffic information in bonus)… which is more useful than the above options and helpful in your decision…
