The most interesting things I have done as a local guide is consistently rating the places I go. I am very picky person and that is my nature. Many times, I wanted change it and most of the time I can say that I am disappointed. This does not mean I do not try new things. In fact, I intentionally expose myself to outrageous ideas, notion, opinions, locations and etc that many think of outrageous and bizarre at first, because I don’t want to judge things based on what I see at face value. I do these because if I say normal I am just normal and my contribution to this world just nothing. My Motto is pay the price to get what get what you want. nothing is free and even if it is free it would disappear before you know it, at least.
I feel that people want to learn what they are getting into before they are exposed, whether it is barber shops, or grocery stores. Accurately rating and giving feedback would help both parties i.e. owners and their would be customers. In my view, this could bring transparency, so that each one of us at least sense what we are getting into.
I always wanted to be a teacher, not just only a normal teacher, but also a person who helps others, that gives me satisfaction more than anything on this planet. I like teaching and helping others whether it is teaching science, be humanitarian or rating locations and businesses to give ideas for people. This is what Local Guides prom mean to me, it is giving me an opportunity to do what I love doing.
