I have a problem with my points going down. because i was on 36,250 point and then now i’m 34,894.

Incidentally, have you reviewed the settings in myactivity.google.com?
Is it set to delete the activity history at a specified interval? That will delete the answers to questions and subsequent irrecoverable loss of points.
Incidentally, I note that 188 photos by you are now private. That’s quite a large number. Added to that many more have been removed causing a further loss of points.

You can’t make a photo public once it’s flagged by somebody as objectionable.
It’s s also painful to find that, when the collection becomes large.
However, one day or other we need to do that as a large count of private photos and reviews would cause further trouble.

Hi ! @Govind_Jha
After reading few post about point I find that mainly two are responsible
- Make sure that your contributions are not violating the policy If violating points will decrease.
2)Due to deletion of contribution , deleted contribution can’t be restored and because of it point will decrease As @C_T commented check your settings . Read this for more about deletion How do I delete my answers to questions on Google Maps?

@Govind_Jha , First of all you should try to understand where you are missing your points. Please check on Points, levels, and badging for the full range of points
Of course a technical issue is possible, but in any case I want to inform you about the most common reasons for points to drop:
- Answer removal: Points can drop depending of your setting for Google’s My Activity . Please read: How do I delete my answers to questions on Google Maps?
If on My Activity your setting is different from this one here below, your answer are automatically deleted on a frame window
The reason is that, removing the activity from your profile, Google cannot associate points to the answers

Hello @ErmesT
When we see the photo count on the photos tab, that adds up videos.
However, on the badge, the statistics show that separately.
That creates misrepresenting information about the public/private count.

You are correct @C_T , 100 % correct. I have edited my post
The reason of the difference between counts BTW need to be explained / understood, and in any case can only explain a difference of less than 1000 points.
@Govind_Jha , There are several reason for a photo not to be visible or counted: A place has been removed from maps, a photo has been flagged as private.
As we cannot see the photo that are flagged as private, you should search an explanation on this post: What photos should I share on Google Maps?
I see that some of your contributions are related to an “unknown place”. In this case the photo and video will not give you points. An unknown place can be indicated for a place that has been removed, or for photos added to a not approved edit
