I’m trying to join my local community group in Goten-yama town, Musashino city, Tokyo.
We have a lot of foreign tourists for Ghibli Museum (very famous Hayao Miyazalo animation movies) or Kichijoji of commercial strip nowadays.
I’ve invited to join the local group meeting and I attended the meeting and got a introduction of this group.
They are doing something make people happy like small event like Karaoke, Rakugo commedian show, small trip, etc. and also taking care of aged people around here.
This is our community center building with a several meeting room and Japanese rooms, study room and lobby.
Last week I attended Rakugo commedy event and more than 50 people enjoyed exciting story based on The Tale of the Heike.
Now we, Japanese have a big problem of a decline in the number of children. We have to take care of a lot of aged people too. Our local group is doing small activities but it’s a very positive way to encourage local people struggling the problems. A laugh brings healthy and happy life. I’d like to give small help to this community by giving information technology to enhance its activities easily.
