I just gave a like on your post, and I can assure you that everything is working fine. But as @gmapas said, it is not possible to give a like on our own post, that’s why the heart is grayed out on our post (it is a subjective view, of course).

Don’t worry, @amitxjadhav , everyone of us learn step by step.
As an additional tip I suggest you to “tag” the person you are responding to by using @ and selecting the name from the pop-up that will appear. In this way we will be notified of the tag. Active member of the community are involved in a lot of conversations, so they can easily miss a reply addressed to them, if they are not tagged
