AI became a google guide a few years back just by sharing information on places I’ve been before to help others learn about the location, what it offers and what the experience is like. Within weeks it became a way of life for me, one of my contributions to society in a sense. I enjoyed how a group of individuals became a community that thrived on helping others learn about what is around them and what to expect just by sharing our own experiences thoughts and opinions, then it dawned on me that we aren’t just helping users but companies as well to better serve their customers from our feedback.
As a guide, I feel that I am doing a public service providing honest and detailed opinions of my experience to allow them to make educated choices. The Local Guides Program allows us as guides to serve our community in the simplest and most honest way possible. The program serves all our communities every day and guides are part of that service, I’d like to shout out all the guides and to commend you all on your service.
