In January 2017, I landed in the amazing city of Dubai, UAE. One of my places to visit was Burj Khalifa. I bought the tickets from Expedia for the evening slot. There is a great demand for evening slots as the city is more enjoyed during evening time because of the cooler temperature. Luckily I got it. Dubai Metro was my primary mode of commute. I got down at the Dubai Mall Station. There was almost a 1-mile walk from the station to the Mall itself. The walk through the mall led me to the Burj Khalifa. Its an amazing piece of architecture.
Once I reached the Burj Khalifa, got into the line for the elevators to the observation deck at the 124th floor. The elevators are the fastest in the world.
Finally! reached the Observation Deck. It’s Breathtaking. I walked around and put my fingers through the openings in the glass panes. I could feel the breeze at that height. It was an amazing feeling. Almost surreal!
As it became darker, the musical fountain show started. It’s next to the Burj Khalifa. I took the opportunity to view it from the observation deck. I wanted to see the musical fountain show at the ground level. So after exiting Burj Khalifa, went straight to the watch the musical fountain show. The music was amazing! I felt it’s much better than the one in Las Vegas, USA.
