My Journey to a Google Local Guide

I am a Global Testing Consultant and also a freelance testing trainer based out of India. I am a trainer by choice as I love travelling and teaching. This job involves lot of travelling within the country and around the globe. It sometimes becomes a challenge for me when I look for few common services like ATM Near me, a cuisine near me, may be a barber shop, etc on google maps and I don’t find them at the described location as per the maps. Its generally observed in India that the service doesn’t exist any more but it’s still marked on google. That’s where my journey started about being a Google Local Guide. I started giving valuable review which helps people to know whether what they are looking at really exist and decide whether that will be place of there concern or the place doesn’t exist. Also, highlighting the the value of “Individuals review” where today people trust on reviews given by real users than the companies promotion and we stand here as a remark of that.

At the end my message to all the local guides-

“We must consider our responsibilities towards being Google Local guide being loyal, accurate and sincere, as many millions around the world rely on us and we help them to assist by our reviews.”.
