My name is Damir, I am a local expert of Google maps! It is a great honor for me to be part of Google team! My very first meeting with Google maps was in 2013, when I was faced with the search for the building I needed. There was no data on the map for this building, and I decided to enter the necessary data. Thus, I had an idea to continue to enter information on Google maps.
A person is always in search of something new, unknown to himself, he needs to discover new places, visit different countries, cities. The city where I live was built at a fast pace, new residential complexes, parks, roads appeared. People are increasingly turning to Google maps, because the picture about this place is important for them, what it looks like, what reviews and ratings were left. And then my thought flashed through me, and why I should not be useful to society. I decided to share comments and photos on Google maps about the places I visited.
Frankly saying, I am pleased to be a local expert, now I am on the seventh level, because by sharing this I help others to learn about places a little more than just a name.
Let Google maps be in every person by default, you make this world even closer! I wish Google maps team new creative and useful ideas!
