I live in a small place call Älmhult ( Almhult) in southern Sweden , this place is also known for IKEA . The first IKEA Store was open here in Älmhult and that has been converted into IKEA Museum .
We don’t have many restaurants here to try or eat different food so almost every weekend, we go out and eat . We consider our weekend food as special treat since we can’t drive every day that long so we have to choose the place wisely after reading the reviews . Reviews on google map helps us a lot to find a good dining place .
Before becoming a local guide , I had been getting some pop up in Google Map for the visited place for the review and that’s how I started as an Local Guides . I answer questions , review visited place by giving them star and comments.
I really like the concept of contribution and participation through Google Local Guide and will continue doing it .
