My journey as a local guide has been immensely satisfying. I’m an avid traveller and shopper too. I love exploring local markets where ever I go. In the cities that I have lived in and the cities that I visit, I’ve tried to put a lot of new places on the map. It all started three years ago when I accidentally posted some pictures on maps because of a prompt from my android device. I discovered maps that day and realised that I could also post reviews here. Since then it’s been such an enriching journey reading about peoples’ experiences and sharing my own. I try to leave as much detailed reviews of the places that I visit. especially #localtips and that’s the reason why I earned my Master Reviewer Badge. The fact that Whenever I search for a place on maps, I first click on photos, made me realise the importance of pictures and the various angles that you need to cover a place properly and that’s what I try to do every time I visit a new place. The fact that I’m a Master Photographer and some of my pictures have 50k plus views makes me really glad. It shows how far my pictures reach and help fellow travellers.
One more thing that I like to do is to add locations to the maps. The fact that I might be the first person adding a new place or the first person to review a place, makes my tiny heart swell with pride 
The biggest reason that I share more everyday, is also the emails I get from Google local guides every end of month explaining the reach of my reviews and pictures, also showing my new badges and congratulating me on my milestones on maps. These are little things that make me feel good for being a part of something big. Being a part of #localguide and globally leaving a mark somewhere!
