As a Google Guide, I get involved in 3 different levels:
- Its gives me a platform to interact with other Google Guides from other parts of the World.
- It gives me a platform to represent India in the Google World. India is developing in the Digital Era, where Smart phones are being affordably available to the masses. An app like Google Maps is wonderful for getting around and also find ratings to a place that you want to check out.
- Also it gives me a platform to give my views on the different places that I worked in. I know I am representing India in the workforce in 2 different levels- a dimension that focuses the safety that woman get while working the night shift. Another dimension is where I work for a company where the work is outsourced to us from the United States. I thought of using this as a platform to make people understand that we are not here to take US jobs. We get paid a lot less for these jobs and we don’t get overtime. Our work contributes to the American Economy, not really the Indian Economy. We also contribute to the American Economy by buying Starbucks, McDonald’s and Burger King in India. This sounds like an answer to Global Economic Solutions.
