My Home Town at Kashmiri Migrant Camp, Jammu

This is a bird’s eye view of my home town, at Nagrota, Jammu. My family is a Kashmiri Pandit Family. Ethnic cleansing of Kashmiri Hindus happened when Kashmiri Hindus, a large majority of whom were Kashmiri Pandits, were forced to flee the Kashmir valley as a result of terrorism, on or after 20 January 1990. The estimate of Pandits having fled Kashmir ranges from approximately 100,000 to as high as 800,000.

This photograph was taken using my Sony A6300 DSLR camera with 50 mm F1.8 (Prime) Lens. This is a Vertical pano shot. The weather was favourable for such a nice shot.
