At the invitation of a friend @Ant_Bad_Yogi I decided to write this post as part of the initiative #MonthlyTopic of April.
Hobbies are a means for me to relax after work and fill my free time.
My first hobby was building paper models from ABC magazine.
Later they were models of aircraft and boat kits.
When the tenager age came, I became more interested in music.
I played acoustic guitar and my brother played drums. This is how our first garage band was formed. I later switched to bass guitar and it lasted until high school. As a band we played Rock, Pop and we also had a couple of our own songs. We took qualifying exams to make money on instruments, but we remained an amateur group. We played dancing at wedding receptions and a couple of amateur competitions.
As a memory, I enclose a video recording from 1982, supplemented by photographs from the amateur festival in Košice.
After college, I got married and hung a bass guitar on a nail.
However, I still listen to a good rock or blues throw from my CD, mobile phone, or on Youtube.

Your hobby is wonderful. You can play many instruments. I play guitar too but it’s not that I like it but I like singing. What instrument do you like most? Bass guitar? What band is your favorite?

Thats long time ago…but my brother still plays drums…
I like old school rock from 80 years like Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Toto, Journey, Santana, Who…My favorite voice is Glenn Hughes bassist and vocalist from Depp Purple…
I like too modern blues from E.Clapton, Joe Bonamassa, Snowy White…and many others.
@KarolT Thank you for your reply. Hahaha, all of those bands, I only knowE.Clapton. Anyhow, this post surprised me as I thought you would write about photography. Well, playing music instrument is beautiful to me. Nice hobby.
Most of my posts topics are about traveling and photography…Music is my big love too…I think many other LGs love music too…Like @RiccyB …He loves similar styles…There are so many types and styles…like in photography…Some photographer set…There is room for everyone… �
It is really amazing man. You should start again at least to play something. There is a saying which goes like, ‘Music is the food of your soul’ or something. You know I need music everyday to survive @KarolT
The bands you listed are great. I just had a concert of Black Sabbath. It was more then awesome, although it was on TV I was with the crowd. I like jazz, blues and of course rock. From Rock’n’Roll to Heavy Metal to Dark in all forms. I found out how neo folkmusic can bring you down and into another universe. It is trance but played with old instruments. Heilung is one of my favourite groups. I must add that electronic music is an unseperable part of me as well. Thanks for starting this wonderful post @KarolT and thank you too @Ant_Bad_Yogi for making him start it.
