My Google Maps Local Guide profile is showing 108 reviews, but my review count is still stuck at 88.
The 20 newer reviews are visible and public but when I add new reviews/photos, the review total itself has not updated.
This has been happening for about 3 weeks.
Could someone please help refresh or correct the review count so it reflects my actual 105 reviews?

According to your public Maps profile you have 108 reviews under your belt but only 103 of these are public. So the spamfilters took down 5 of your reviews.
Please explain where you got the 88 reviews from.

The issue is most probably related to the long delay in updating the total counters. In fact you may have noticed that Al’s the counter of the total views for the photos is not updating.
This is not a big issue. Google usually slow down the update of the counters of the 500+ million Local Guides when the resources are needed for higher priority activities (e.g. for navigation) or when they are doing some maintenance.
The delay is just disappointing us, but the counters are not affecting the functionality of Google Maps, so don’t worry
