Hello Everyone,
I am Kruthika Jayaprakash. I am a Google level 8 Local Guide. I am a very simple, sensitive and a sensible person. I am born and brought up in Chennai Tamilnadu. In fact in Chromepet! Where I did my schooling and College. Just after I got a Job I stepped out on my own. During my working days while in office cab, all my cab mates call me as GPS unit, because I know almost all the shortest routes, oneways, detours options by heart. I even sometimes guide routes to my cab mates home while they themselves are confused from a different drop point. Thus I know all the nooks and corners in Chennai. A few years ago I traveled to the United kingdom. But I had my eldest sister and Younger brother in Cardiff and Edinburgh respectively. Hence I didn’t have any issues with routes as I was always accompanied by them during my 1 month visit. But in the year 2017 I was relocated to Warsaw, Poland. New place, New people, New Language I was awestruck. Then Google maps became my savior. It was so helpful using Google maps as almost everything can be translated to the languages I know. I started realizing that if I have been using Google maps back in my hometown I would have been helpful to many. But then I was not aware. That is when I started giving inputs to Google maps and became a local Guide. Now that I am back to my hometown have started giving a lot of details in Google maps and trying to contribute more. Now, even before I start to enjoy any new place, I am taking snaps and videos of it to upload it to Google maps. I feel that I am being helpful for those who are new to the place. Hence Google maps became and important checklist when I started from my home.
