My Google Map Reviews Likes & views Counter decreasing in Android Google Map Contribute Tab.

Hi Google Map Team & Connect Moderators,

Today I noticed on my Android Google Map app → Contribute Tab → Review Pane within that constantly my Google Map Reviews Likes & views Counter decreasing as below,

But on my main Google Map Contribute tab the number of views of my reviews are correct one as below,

So My query is that why there is discrepancy between the number of views on main Google Map Contribute tab which is correct and review tab dashboards number of views & likes are decreasing ?

I suspect that this is major data inconsistency problem ?

I am not sure about this is happening with my profile only or happening with other google map profile also ?

Is there any Android Google Map App glitch within system or suffer a sudden malfunction or irregularity of Google Map App?

Please help me to resolve above issue.

Feel free to suggest if any action needed from my side.

Thank you for flagging! Could you please try to log out from Google Maps > Close the app > Log back in and please let me know if same issue still occurs.

I tried to log out from Google Maps Account , Closed the app , cleared cache from my Smartphone And Log-In back but same issue still occurs.

You’re right it’s not just you, we’ve also encounters the same issue, all of my reviews are flagged private only i can see my reviews and other map user cannot see my reviews, may be it is something system consider is our reviews are spam, all of my reviews are old like 2 to three years, now the system comes knows that all our reviews are spam. totally unfair, we dont know how the google review policies are works.

Today I received the email from the Google map team regarding my review & photos on Google maps statistics as below,

The same statistics number of views and like are not reflected on Google maps android app .

Please help me to resolve this issue ASAP because it was pending from Last Saturday.

I just wanted to let you know that the count of likes of photos and reviews have been completely wrong for many months now.

I have concluded that the issue cannot be important enough to warrant a fix on Googles part.

Next step could be to explain why you think they need to fix those two counters. Why are they important to you? What benefits do you see?

I have noticed that the photo view counter has improved over time (not perfect yet), and I think view counts carry more value.

The review view & review likes developed by team for analytics purpose So, other Review dependent features on Google Map App may affect or dysfunction due to inappropriate data.

Google Map team developed this review view & review likes features for better experience to end users, local guides, Google Map users on this Google Map application.
