My Google guide reviews got trolled

My Google guide reviews have been trolled. Somebody flagged up dozens of my perfectly normal reviews as “inappropiate” although they are not. There is no notification if reviews are reported/flagged so you can object in time. Now many reviews (many with photos) have been taken down “automatically”. A few I could object still, but the troll had taken a lot of effort to report the oldest reviews first as allegedly “inappropiate” so I would not notice the objections because these were too far down in the review-scroll until so much time had lapsed that the system took the reviews down automatically. Most of the reviews even not linked to a business or authority and most were 5 stars. It is highly unlikely that within a week (after 2 years with not one objection) more than 30 reviews suddenly get “objected”. How can such trolling of a google guide account be prevented in the future ?

It is probably not caused by people but by the overly sensitive spam filer, @CeeTeeBerlin .

Please use the form called Account investigation for contributions not visible on Google Maps if you believe that some of your contributions have been wrongfully unpublished. Keep in mind, it takes several weeks for the check to be done, and you will not be notified about the result, so I suggest you check the status of your reviews once a week or so.

Best of luck
