My Google Guide Photos Analytics

Is it possible to get data analytics from my local guide photos? For example: I have one photo that have more than 500.000 views*. It will be very interesting to know who, when and where are from those people viewing my photo, as the same way that google analytics can do with websites.

Hello @

Contributions to Maps as Local Guides is a leisure activity.

Let’s not worry much about who, when & where saw our contributions.

Nevertheless, we may not get such analytics for volunteer activity.

That may be possible in Google My Business.

Further, the view count is some strange entity.
The moment a photo gets pulled from the server for any reason, that adds to the view count. That doesn’t necessarily mean that someone has gone through the pic, thoughtfully.

Hi @moronrenato

To answer your question: no, detailed statistics on who sees your photos are not available to Local guides.

But you may want to take a look at these two somewhat related threads:

Leaderboards of the Most Viewed Photos

and

Do you dare to check

Cheers

Hi @moronrenato ,

Thanks for reaching out to us! As @C_T and @MortenCopenhagen already wrote, the answer to your question is that detailed analytics for the single photos are not available.

I wanted to let you know that I just accepted Morten’s reply as solution so it can be beneficial for the other members with the same curiosity. To know more about it, you can take a look at the following post: How do I mark comments as solutions?

Since this is your first post, you might want to read Your guide to Connect, where you can find helpful information about the fourum. :slightly_smiling_face:
