My friend told me that I was obsessed with food.

I have had the opportunity to travel to many places around the world through my work. Like, everybody, you need to eat and why not make that meal a memorable occasion? Where to eat? What to eat? It is not about finding that exceptional fine dining restaurant but rather something unique, preferably local food and something that fits within your budget. Eating should not be a bad experience, it should be fun, that’s is why I use Google maps. Being quite advanced in the kitchen, I sometimes wonder why some people are in a restaurant and service business at all? When I review a place, I want it to be fair, explaining what made me give that particular rating. What made it stand out? If I didn’t like it, why? and how could it be improved?

My other great hobby is photography. I always take pictures of food. Food I cook and the food I eat at restaurants. Posting on Google maps is a great source of feedback, sometimes it is surprising which pictures get a lot of views and which don’t. I am aiming for quality rather than quantity. I was “born to be a chef”, though my parents thought that I should have a theoretical education, after all, that is why I am an IT-professional. I cannot tell you which date or year it was, but I can tell you what I ate.
Bon appetite!
